COMPLETE O&M SOLUTIONS
The engineers and scientists of Avtec's services organization have extensive deployment and post-deployment operations and maintenance expertise. In addition to comprehensive O&M programs for our own products, Avtec's specialists can implement a complete O&M solution for almost any customer system, from the modestly-sized to the very large.
Our expertise with large systems operations stems from participation in integrated product teams (IPTs) that have successfully transitioned through initial operation capability (IOC) and into the operations phase. Avtec's systems-level technical experts are always on call, at our own and at customer facilities, in order to support the operation of deployed systems and provide maintenance.
DATA ANALYSIS FOR OPTIMAL PERFORMANCE
Our engineers and scientists draw on their extensive conceptual and technical operations expertise to provide data analysis for complex missions, and also develop metrics to determine how well missions are performing. Avtec measures of effectiveness (MOE) performance metrics are currently in use by a variety of important national space systems. In addition to mission performance analysis, we also provide more fundamental data analysis, such as health and status monitoring for space missions and spacecraft. We are proficient at both problem diagnosis and problem resolution.
DEPLOYED ALGORITHM ENHANCEMENT
Avtec's strong scientific and engineering expertise enables us to play a significant ongoing role in the enhancement of data-processing and signal-processing algorithms deployed in operational systems. We develop algorithm updates to correct problems, enhance flexibility, and add functionality (for example, to allow processors to cope with new signals or signal environments), and are often tasked with suggesting and implementing algorithm improvements pre-emptively as part of a pre-planned product improvement (P3I) initiative.
CUSTOM-TAILORED CLOSE SUPPORT
For our own data communications products, Avtec has developed tailored operations and maintenance programs. Highly customer-specific, these programs usually include deployment support, 24/7 technical support, on-site engineering support when required, depot level support (with next day delivery on the lowest replaceable unit), and configuration management. Our outstanding close support ensures that most problems are caught and corrected before they impact performance.
