Architectural Engineering Studies & Development
GETTING PROGRAMS LARGE AND SMALL UP TO SPEED
At Avtec, we have a long history of developing and analyzing system and program architectures. Our engineering services organization has participated in all phases of the development of some of the largest and most advanced aerospace and defense systems operating today. Experience has demonstrated the importance of a program's start-up phase, during which program architecture is defined and development is ramped up to full scale.
MANAGING RISK AND FIXING PROBLEMS WITH PERFORMANCE VALIDATION
Once a systems concept has been defined and its requirements have been fixed, studies must be carried out to validate the system's performance against its specification. Early identification of potential problem and risk areas is critical. Over the years, Avtec has developed tools that allow our engineers to accurately predict performance, at the full system level and at the level of individual subsystems and components. This allows us to perform detailed tradeoff studies at any phase of development, interpret the results and rapidly suggest needed improvements.
ENGINEERING FOR OPTIMAL PERFORMANCE
By analyzing actual performance against spec at an early development stage, Avtec's engineers are able to identify potential performance shortfalls, risk areas, and problems such as overspecification and unnecessary complication which impact cost as well as performance. We can then suggest and test alternative architectures and implementations, resulting in the best possible architecture and most cost-effective implementation.
